About 4PVDancers...
Diane, Bill, Elissa and Gib love to dance, especially West Coast Swing. The movie clip above to the left shows Diane and Bill putting their skills into practice “live” in Memphis in 2008. The clip at the right shows Elissa and Gib dancing to “Tater” at Club 2000.
We have tried various methods of remembering what we’ve learned, but they all pale in comparison to videos. Instructors generally don’t like to record their lessons, and we respect that. So, we four get together once a week to practice the new steps and, once we have them “right” (even if they lack fluidity and style), video them for future reference.
We are happy to share these videos with fellow students, and welcome constructive comments. If you have something helpful or encouraging to say, please e-mail Gib. If you just want to criticize, take a deep breath and kindly leave us alone - we aren’t hurting anyone, and we don’t ask for any compensation in return.
Thank you, and enjoy!

About Digital Media Rights...
We respect the rights of copyright holders and do not support unlicensed music copying. That said, we use purchased recordings as background music for our dance videos (as YouTube reminds us every time we upload a new video).
Some may not see this as permitted use, but we do:
1)All the music on this site consists of segments usually 15-45 seconds long. There are no complete songs on this site.
2)The music is not digitally copied to the video. It is played on speakers for the dancers and the sound is captured with the camera’s microphone. Anyone listening to this as a substitute for a digital copy is foolish... the sound quality is poor and only useful to accompany the dancing. We think nobody has or ever will copy a sound track from this site instead of buying a legitimate copy.
3)Besides, we often get queries about the exact names of the recordings so viewers can purchase their own copies. Perhaps we should be charging music copyright holders for the advertising value of our site!
